Technician was excellent. Explained what my issue was and corrected the problem first time on time.
Need to have wire checked from street to house. Electric lights are blinking on and off in house and electrical said it's a short from the street feed to house

Unfair case
I have reported for months my neighbors stealing electricity from house I have provided it evidence and still no one done anything but cut my electricity service never acredic my bill nothing the police was involved still nothing am calling my lawyer is my next step and am pressing charges

I am a night shift cardiac nurse my husband is also a health care worker so we sleep during the day
This is the second event where your employees banged on the door disturbing us to move our vehicles
A few wks ago they did the same thing
A sign was put on trees outside dating jan 17 when the first time they rudely woke me before that date forcefully banging on the door
In the process 2 of my garden llamas were smashed that were on my step
I understand that your company has jobs to do but a flyer should of been placed in our mailbox to make us aware at least a day before instead of leaving an old notice with a past date
I put myself at risk for the population during covid and should be treated more respectfully .

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The electricity came on 16 hrs later
I reported my power outage on Jan 10 2024 . The estimated restoration time is Friday January 12 by 9 pm.
I live in an all electric household which means no water no heat no toilet. 2 fridges/freezers in jeopardy and I am 84 years old. When I called them and told them about my plight they couldn't care less. Should something happen to me my family will sue them.
This never happened before in 44 years of my living at the same place. Being all electric they get a lot of money during the cold season.
1 month last year 800 dollars . Usually 600 dollars per month.

We had a Power issue in our home(surges and short outages) and we called AC electric. The first service tech said power was good and it was in the house.
This was not the case.
I called again and asked to have a Service tech come out again when I was there.
He arrived, quickly assessed the issue by running a test at the house. Said it was at the Pole/Transformer, made some changes in wires etc AND All is Great !!!

Emergency tree+wires fallen on roof and house at 605 Sunset Blvd. CapeMay New Jersey.
A tree and wires have fallen on our house causing a dangerous situation. It has already penetrated the screen ,and parts have landed on the roof,and we are deeply concerned that it might come through the window and cause a volatile situation.
We are unable to actively move the tree especially because of concern of hot wires,
We Have contacted Atlantic Electric multiple times since last Thursday. The first time after a contact a representative of the company assessed the situation and deemed it an emergency.. He stated he would notify the forestry department directly and state the emergency situation and that they would be out before the weekend, As of this writing and multiple calls and promises the emergency situation has not been corrected. I am anxious and somewhat afraid to remain in the house.
Without the situation being rectified and I am unable leave due to physical limitations to do otherwise.

I sat on hold for 35 minutes then the representative told me to call back and hung up on me! Back on hold for another 30 minutes! This company is horrible

Very unhappy with this company
I do not have electric with this company but the business I work for does and as the accountant and secretary I must have access to the account therefore I was required to put my name in Social Security number on the account in order to have that access which in turn means I'm responsible for the bill if something happens in the business I work for is unable to pay for one reason or another and I'm very uncomfortable with this and I do not understand why this is a policy I have never ran into this issue anywhere else and I have worked for three of the businesses on the back of my current boss all of which I've had access to every business account including electrical but the other two businesses are and I completely different state so I did not have to use Atlantic City Electric until starting to work at the New Jersey location and I am very unhappy with what I had to do to gain access.

Preferred solution: Access to my business accounts without having to be financially responsible for bills for a company I just work for and have no ownership or any other benefits other than being an employee

Spikes
I had smoke detectors triggering for short periods in my home. This sometimes happens with the slightest voltage anomaly, surge, spike, dip, transfer switching, squirrel hit, etc.
The smoke detectors sometimes trip before you can even see a light flicker or not. Anyway, I had trouble finding the number. Once I did, they took my info.
A technician called me back within 5 minutes. That's good service.

This company has no or little respect for the consumer. Hours on the phone yesterday with nothing taken care of now Im typing in a complaint.

Lady on phone could care less about my $256.50 bill
I just received a bill for $256.50 for Jan 19 2024 I called and the lady said to go on line Getting help I will try to explainI live alone 78 years old live like hermit and how could I have 3 months of bills under 100.00Oct. $77.66.Nov$63.33Dec$61.16 and now $256.50totally impossible!! I would like an authority from AC electric inspect my home why this happened .the lady on the phone could care less said to go on line .I hope receive a answer from thisKathleen Henderson

After calling all your help numbers I cannot get thru. Your computer, not mine, keeps repeating.
Tried to go online to access my account, says my account has been disabled, payment just was taken automatically from account. Just want to go online to see my bill. Did the help contact, sent me to just ask. I refuse to use that.
Used it once, was charged 75$ which I never was refunded.
Finically, after hours of trying, got someone in India? He was very polite and helpful. Gave me a temporary PW so I could access my account. Which I was told that was the only way I could change from paperless to go back to paper.
PW was not accepted, still couldnt get in. All I want to do is to go back to paper billing. I need to apply for heating assistance, and now especially since this Ill has gone up ridiculously! I understand things increase, but this isnt right, putting your problems on the customers.
I need a paper statement to apply. Your lack of trying to communicate is why people change to solar or another company. Even if you only gave an option to leave a message on your list of options over the phone.
So, I would appreciate it very much if I could return to paper billing, I need assistance now more than ever. Sincerely, Barbara A Clark

I agree you should have been given a 24 hour warning at least.
As a retail pharmacist that also worked and gave thousands of vaccines over that time, please do not pull the “I worked frontline during Covid” card. We deserve the respect we earn. It did not make us better than anyone then and it certainly doesn’t now.
